Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1: CASABLANCA – CHEFCHAOUEN:

Today we will meet you and start your 6-day tour from Casablanca. From your hotel in Casablanca or in the airport drive to Chefchaouen. In the way, we will make shortstops. Then get to the blue city, finally, overnight in an authentic riad in the medina. ( BB)

DAY 2: FREE DAY TO EXPLORE CHEFCHAOUEN:

You will have a free day to walk around and explore the highlights of the blue city. Finally, overnight at the same riad (BB). So enjoy your 6-day tour from Casablanca.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – FES:

Today we will meet you at your hotel in Chefchaouen and drive to Fes. After a few hours, we will get there and have all the afternoon to explore the highlights of Fes. Then, overnight in a traditional Riad ( dinner and breakfast).

DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA DESERT :

After breakfast, we will start traveling south to Merzouga desert via Midelt and Errachidia. So, on this 6-day tour from Casablanca, your first stop will be at Ifrane city, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, and then to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. During this journey, you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Then stop at the famous cedar forest – the largest one in Morocco. There you will have the opportunity to see the Barbarian apes. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the Er Rachidia city. After lunch in Midelt, continue your 6 days in Morocco along the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will drive through Berber villages to Erfoud then to Rissani; the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and ride your camel to see the sunset in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco and spend the night there. Overnight at our desert camp where you will have your dinner. (well-equipped camp).

DAY 5: SAHARA DESERT – TODRA GORGE – DADES VALLEY :

Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best sunrise in your life. Afterward, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your Riad appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and hot shower in a traditional guest house, you’ll leave for Tinghir and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you’ll have the opportunity to hike along its valley. Afterwards, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Finally, overnight accommodation will be in a riad or a guesthouse in the heart of the gorge. (dinner and breakfast).  

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – MARRAKECH :

After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is named the way of thousand Kasbahs. Providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa” on this 6-day tour from Casablanca. Lunch will be at the famous Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. It is recognized by UNESCO as a world patrimony. It is famous as a backdrop for many films, including ‘Lawrence of Arabia’, ‘Gladiator’. Then our 6-day tour from Casablanca will continue through the majestic Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains where you can stop also to explore the process of making the argan oil at the women s cooperatives before arriving at your accommodation in Marrakech, where the tour ends.
